Download & install
Extract the ZIP and add it from the Fusion Scripts and Add-Ins panel.
- Download the Fusion add-in ZIP and extract the cx-fusion folder.
- Open Fusion 360, then go to Utilities > Add-Ins > Scripts and Add-Ins.
- Add the extracted folder and enable Run on Startup if you want the command permanently available.
- Find the command under Solid > Insert > Insert SolidWorks File via CADExchange.
- Sign in with your CADExchange email and password inside the command dialog.
- Choose a .sldprt or .sldasm file.
- If you are importing an assembly, attach a support .zip that preserves referenced files and folders.
- Click Convert and Insert and let the add-in import the returned STEP into the active design.
